 It is a must-see spot on the Cappadocia Ihlara Route. There are information boards. A settlement that has hosted many principles. A little neglected and left uncontrolled.

We found the road difficult, Google took us wrong. Actually, there was a beautiful road, but it led us into the village, but then we realized and found the right way. When we went, there was no one except a woman who I thought was a guard. The puppies and their mothers left us with difficulty. The houses built with experimental archeology are very beautiful. I say change your path and go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Milattan önce 10000 bin yılına dayanan İlk yerleşim yerlerinden birisi. Kazı alanı çok etkileyici. Buradan çıkan eserleri ayrıca Aksaray müzesini ziyaret ederek görebilirsiniz. Hüyüğün tepesinden Melendiz çayı çok güzel görünüyor. Giriş ücreti yok.
It is one of the first settlements dating back to 10000 BC. The excavation site is very impressive. You can also see the artifacts from here by visiting the Aksaray museum. Melendiz tea looks very beautiful from the top of the mound. No entry fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest settlement on Cappadocia Region. The area is quite tourist friendly. There are information boards, route arrows and even home replicas. Sadly this place is not popular at all. However, if one wants to understand the history of the region, this area is a must visit. You can see how people who lived 10.000 years ago constructed houses.
