Akçakaya Lower Mosque Fountain Çeşme is located in the northeast of the Aşağı (Direkli) Mosque, on Şeyh Hamit Street in Akçakaya Village. It is a single-sided, single-arched and chambered wall fountain extending in the north-south direction. On the pointed arch of the fountain, three line inscription is written in thuluth calligraphy. The text of the inscription is as follows: “Year (1) 153 H./1740-1741 M. Huda Ya Lütfü Fazlındır Kerem Babın Küşad Eyle This Charity Owner Hacı Ebu Bekir Şad Eyle in Two Realms " Located in the north-south direction, the fountain was built with smooth cut stones on the front facade, and its reservoir was made of smaller facet stones. The reservoir of the fountain is large and it is among the structures, the top of the reservoir is covered with a flat drop from the outside. Fountain chamber It is more pronounced on the front face and is placed in the middle part extending from the facade. The entire height of the fountain with pointed arches is 3.06 m., 5.27 m. Wide, and 0.20 m. Deep. dir. Covering the fountain niche in the front facade, 1.30 m. The pointed arch measuring measures is placed on the stirrups carried on the sides. The pointed arch of the fountain is plain and there is no element of decoration or decoration other than the rosette-shaped bump formed with floral motifs only on the keystone of the arch. There is a rectangular inscription right above the arch. It is seen that the fountain without mirror stone has three nozzles, one of which is flowing, on the cut stone, which is larger than the other stones. In front of the fountain, the monolith made of black basalt stone material is 0.60x1.35 m. There is a water trough measuring. 0.60x0.55 m to the right and left of this trough. A waiting stone of the same material has been added. On the south side of the fountain, again towards the west, small amounts of rectangular water There are two windows opened for ventilation and water control. To coincide with the lower part of these windows, a 0.68x0.85 m. There is one more trough measuring. The north side of the fountain is extended with a monolithic bench made of basalt stone, which continues at the level of the warehouse. The fountain is completed with a wide cornice on the upper part of the façade. Under this cornice, stone consoles that carry the weight of the cornice and contribute to the decoration are arranged. Apart from the rosettes on the keystone and the consoles under the cornice, there are no other decorative elements in the fountain. The water of the fountain, which is among the buildings and recently renewed with concrete mortar, is flowing and the fountain is used today.
