A historical mosque ...

The work, which is placed on a land that slopes slightly to the south next to Hacı Hasan Neighborhood, Iniş Sokak, is approximately 100 m. to the south. Since it does not have an inscription, its builder and date of construction cannot be determined, but a date statement that we can read in the form of H.1250 (M.1834) or 1290 (M.1873), although it cannot be determined on the top of the altar, suggests that it may have been made between the first quarter and the second quarter of the 19th century. On the other hand, although it is stated that it was built in 1721 with the current writing on a marble slab placed above the door opening, we do not know how accurate it is. Although the existing external mass appearance of the building shows that it has undergone a major repair in a way to change its architectural features, no information has been obtained about the nature and period of the interventions made. The mosque has a rectangular prismatic body in the north-south direction and extends in a rectangular plan in the same direction with the narthex on the north side. The minaret is wooden and the narthex rises on a pedestal fused with the main wall on the northern edge of the east facade. The harim mass is covered with a flat wooden ceiling and a gable roof. The narthex has a rectangular plan in the east-west direction and a flat wooden ceiling. Its gate is located on the north edge of the west wall of the narthex.
