Arka Pizza Bodrum Merkez

Lovely pizzas and excellent service. We were lucky to get in as we hadn't made a reservation and it was Saturday evening, however there was a cancellation and we were accommodated. Would highly recommend, will certainly go back before our trip is over.

Make sure you make a reservation before coming here! We got there around 5pm late June and they said the next table was available at 8pm! The hostess was very nice and offered us this small seating by the parking lot in the back. Since I was hangry.. We took up on her offer ASAP and it was worth it! We ordered the Mozzarella Caprese salad, Quattro pizza and Spaghetti Pasta Carbonara. It’s been months since I’ve had good Italian food, and this place was worth every penny! It was pretty reasonably priced considering it was located in the heart of a touristic area. We paid 166TL for an appetizer and two plates, a beer and a soda.

Good location. Good service. Good pizza.

I’ve had many pizzas around the world and I have to say, without hesitation, top 3 pepperoni pies I ever had. Thin, with a bit of crisp, tasty sauce, fresh quality ingredients, without feeling heavy. They need to work on salads. Ambience and energy is pretty cool - dining is mainly alfresco in a lane way.

Cozy place. The sauce of pizza was too sweet as if they used grated tomato without seasoning. I could not eat pizza by hand as I usualy do due to pizza being too soft (as if it's wet).

Very popular restaurant, for obvious reasons, in Bodrum. Pizza was beautiful and tasty, service was fast and nice (enough). Be prepared to wait if you don’t make a reservation, unless you come early(before 6) or late (after 9.30). However I think their pasta has some issues. Ok so I ordered their homemade parpadelle (+7TL) twice and I loved the pasta, good texture and al dente. However each time (Salmone cream once, spinach once ) the sauce was almost tasteless such that i had to add a good amount of salt even though I almost never add salt to food that I’m served, and there wasn’t the flavours they mentioned in their menu (leek, carrot, orange peel etc etc) and they spammed so much parmesan cheese on the top irregardless to your taste or preference, i guess they do this to save time but when you mix it all in, you just get an overpowering taste of parmesan which cancels a lot of the nuance flavours and the sauce gets too dry and sticky from all the cheese, if they grated it thinly it would have been better but it was just huge chunks of cheese and quite a lot of it. I Guess some might like that. The Tiramisu was quite mediocre even though they upsell it to be a really great recipe. Overall I would still go again, prices are really reasonable and food was pretty good, but I’ll be wiser and ask for less parmesan if I ordered a pasta dish again.

This is a real "thank you" review to all, the reservation, chef and the service. It was really a pleasure tasting everything, and was really hard remembering to take the photos, as we all couldn't stop our selves for taking a photo before coming in the middle of the plate. Just listen the advices of the service, no need to think about the rest. The price was unbelievable, worths each penny you pay.

We were looking for a restaurant where they also served VEGAN dishes and found Arka. Very friendly staff, they were a big help. Varied and modern menu. When asked if dished could be made vegan the staff replied with “uhm…. Yeah why not” ?. We ended up having a very good night and stuffed ourselves so much we couldn’t have desert anymore. The food was great, tasteful and neatly presented. I would recommend Arka to everybody looking for Italian cuisine or just a cozy and modern restaurant in Bodrum, whether you’re vegan or not.
