★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Felt like we were the only people there. In reality, there may have been another six visitors. If you're as lucky as us, you can experience the exotic feeling of discovering an ancient city. Every major attraction was well marked and the museum is fantastic and impressive in it's size. It may be a more fulfilling experience than the nearby, more popular Ephesus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful historical site which unfortunately is not as well known as Efese or Pamukkale but for sur a visit worth. Especially with the best preserved stadium out of the whole world and an amphitheater where you can go on stage.
Don't forget the sebastion almost at the znd of your tour with reliefs of ancient emperiors.
Here you can also see the technic of the old baths .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the museum is located on the territory of the ancient city. (one of the best ancient cities I have visited. The place has been worked hard, many ruins have been restored and reconstructed, so the place is really interesting to visit)
there are not as many exhibits as in some museums, but they definitely deserve attention. a hall with a detailed description of each part of a large composition of sculptures of historical figures, gods and goddesses was the most interesting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to take a walk in the history, you must visit Aphrodisias ancient city. Full of interesting and vivid sculptures. Great experience. Do not forget to wear a hat and sun cream in the summer time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superlative experience in a quite unpopular site. Came here too late in the afternoon so i had to find a place for the night: some men at the nearby village çay evi kindly drove me back to Karacasu where they gave me a free room at the municipality guest house. The following morning i hitchhiked to here and spent 4 hours exploring both the internal museum and the excavations. Really charming.
A man asked me if i would like some sexual stuff while i was walking around the ruins and this has been the only time someone asked me in an open air museum. Maybe the name of the site makes it regular.
Left and hitchhiked 2 cars to Denizli, met my Couchsurfing host.
