The Purple House is a beautiful and rustic place to spend an evening. Ideal for backpackers and day hikers, it is a unique and peaceful sanctuary. It is located next to the ancient Greco-Roman ruins of Aperlae, which are fantastic to explore. The Asar Bay alongside the house is great for swimming. There are a few sleeping options, but the best is the elevated loft hut, or maybe the hammock outside. The small family that lives there is very kind, and they serve delicious homemade and home grown food. Don't pass up a visit to this place, it is well worth it.

As we walked the Lycian way we arrived at a magical location. We opened the gate to a permaculture sustainable garden offering coffee and drinks. They offer beautiful bungalow by the water, the host is a super guy and guests can enjoy a vegetarian dinner

I stayed here with my wife and baby for a night. If you just rate the accommodation, then it is too expensive for the service you get. (180TL for a room + breakfast and 30TL for a dinner) If you rate, that you sleep in an 200 year old farmers-house, 100m away from an incredible sunken city and you get the most incredible sky you probably ever see, than it is a very good price.

The Purple House was the nicest stay on our hike on lykie yolu! When we arrived after a long day it felt like entering the garden Eden. It is such a beautiful place and even though it has been a while I still think about this place. The owner is a warm-hearted man and his wife sings while cooking. We slept in a tree house and hardly wanted to leave. This small bay truly is a glimpse into paradise!

A nice stop close to Aperlai ruins. You can stay or just take a rest, eat/drink something. Food is a bit pricey compared to Ucagiz yet you should consider that there is no road here and the owners carry everything by boat.

This very remote property runs off the grid, using solar for electricity. The showers have cold water, but inside is a gigantic kettle that they will boil water in so you can bathe with a bucket full of hot water to ladle over yourself, as I have done in other places without running hot water. I stayed in a cabin that had full electricity and I was able to charge my phone. The bed was clean and comdleto The cabin and property itself is charming and serene, and a 5 minute walk to the Aperlai ruins. They had snorkels and fins to borrow and I spent an amazing hour swimming amongst the ruins, fish, and sea life. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Beer was no more expensive than in Ucagiz or Limanagzi, it also has to be brought in by boat. Aside from some initial confusion about the availability of their rooms when booking over the phone, I had a great stay. It's not for everyone, but I hope I'll have the chance to stay here again.

- Very nice experience « off the grid » - The Purple House is a very nice guest house far away from everything but very close to the drowned city of Aperlai. The room, build in the middle of the garden, is very quiet. The bed is very comfortable (especially after a long day of hiking) and you can see the stars from it as you never saw them, away from any light pollution. Riza and her husband offer very delicious vegetarian food for dinner and breakfast. The electricity is from solar energy and all the water is recycled. There is no hot water, but they would gladly boil some for you that you can use in a bucket. The stay is pricey, but we really appreciated the experience :)
