★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We as a family are originally from Canada and Mexico and we currently live in Antalya...we have been to the State Opera and Ballet Theatre (Devlet Opera be Balesi) on many occasions and we must tell people that the artistic commitment, integrity and quality is of a very high calibre. The cost to purchase tickets is so low that really anyone could afford to attend. Every month there is something being performed for all ages and tastes. Don't forget to go to the Aspendos Theatre outside of the city to witness theatre, opera and ballet in an open Roman amphitheatre especially during the Summer

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We saw a performance of Romeo and Juliet here recently. A world class performance on the cheap. I have paid ten times more to see a ballet performance in other cities around the world and none were better. For a mere US$7 I had the 3rd row seats and great view. Loved the price and performance. A top notch show.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't compare it to the operas in Europe, both in terms of atmosphere and performances. It feels more like a conference center. The performances are not bad, but not too good either. However, it is a better option than spending time at home in Antalya winters
