★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Get the audio guide, it’s great for context on all the gems inside the museum. It’s very affordable, and will give you great context - especially around the statues and sarcophagi and the people behind them. 10/10 for the dog sarcophagus that comes with a poem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum is located at the end of the tram line - made it easy to get there. If you have the time, it was also a walkable distance away - if you like long walks.
I was impressed by the museum. It was nicely laid out, and almost everything was labeled in both Turkish and English.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So many things to see! Perfect place to go to visit when weather is not good. Informative museum, almost everywhere there are translations of exhibitions in English, for extra additional cost you can get voice guide (headphones) to guide you through the museum. There are many halls full of things to see from oldest Stone Age to latest discoveries that are brought from Perge in Antalya. You will find there to see things from the tiniest stone and bone tools to massive sculptures of Ancient Gods or sarcophaguses. Also there are things to see outside too. Tickets cost 55 Turkish Lira.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! An extremely underrated museum, especially for 55 TL ($4).
It has a sizable amount of antiquity artifacts and a gigantic number of Roman artifacts, including hundreds of original statues.
And you can touch most of them!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think that this museum has to be one of the best I've seen. The cost to enter was 55TL and with audio another 35 TL, an incredible bargain for what you get. I highly recommend the audio otherwise you miss so much information. This museum is laid out very well, lots of exhibits. The sculptures are very impressive and in very good shape, then you have the Sarcophagus that have such detail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say almost as impressive as the Athens museum, which says a lot. They have a terrific inventory of statues and I especially enjoyed the coin exhibits upstairs. It's a very Zen place with a great feel and with the museum card makes it very affordable.
