Our school, which started education in the 2007-2008 academic year as Özkent Akbilek Primary School with the governor's approval dated 16.07.2007 and numbered 1102, was established on an area of ​​1698 m². The philanthropist businessman ÖZKENT AKBİLEK, who received the outstanding service award at the ceremony held in Istanbul, was named after him. Our school with 23 classrooms; 2 Kindergarten, Multi-Purpose Hall, Science Lab. Technology and Design Classroom, Information Technology Class, Library, Parent-Teacher Union Room, Administrative Rooms and 23 usable classrooms are available to our students. There is also a clean and well-maintained 20-ton water tank and a ready-to-use shelter to meet the water needs. Established in the 2007-2008 academic year, with the vision of being an institution that leaves a mark on the future that every student studying in our school and every personnel working in our school, which sets an example with its mission of raising individuals who think, question, make decisions, and are equipped with Kemalist, scientific and modern values, Our school became one of the preferred schools in our region in a short time and gave the first signals of its future success. Our school continues to exist as Özkent Akbilek Secondary School, with the changes in the law that started to be implemented as of the 2012-2013 academic year, and the transition to 12-year compulsory gradual education instead of 8-year uninterrupted compulsory education.
