Gençlik İl Müdürlüğü elinde bakımsız kalan şimdi ise Belediyenin yaptığı yapacağı masrafların yine bir işe yaramayacağı, çıkılan ihalelerin de sonuçsuz ya da ranta kurban gideceği aşikar. Buz pateni bu şehirde ilgisi az elit bir spor dalı. Konumu itibariyle tesisin daha farklı alanlarda da değerlendirilmesi gerekir. Öğrenci yurdu yapılabilir; kompleks dahil bir şekilde spora, sanata önem verilen alternatifler düşünülebilir ama illaki kurtuluş parkındaki eski buz pateni sahası şeklinde yıllarca hiç bir işe yaramayan ve yapılan bunca işe rağmen içine girince köy kahvesi tadı alınmak isteniyorsa diyecek bir şey yok. 2022 şubat ayında planlanan işler, etkinlikler ve sadece son zamanda harcanan 400 milyona yakın para umarız bir işe yarar.
