My dear school, which made my high school life so good. It has teachers and administration that strive to provide every opportunity to its students. Apart from language education, it also has well-equipped and knowledgeable teachers for the university exam. I won Ankara Medicine by only going to my school's course without going to any private teaching institution. I would like to thank my teachers who are always by my side and give their time and knowledge to us at every opportunity.

It is a school where no one should send their child unless the administration changes completely. The teacher draft walks up to the children and raises their hands, insults them, and the principal says that you can't complain about my teacher. If you do not want your education life to come from your nose, do not choose this school. Don't make this a war, learn to say right to right, stop patronizing teacher.

I am writing as a student who graduated from school last year. I don't know if people who talk about the school's deterioration are talking about this year's education, but I can say with peace of mind that in the 2020-2021 academic year, it provides a much better online education than many high quality high schools in Ankara and always strives for better. In addition, at this time when even free education did not return without money, I witnessed that the education staff gave course services by giving their own moral and material support in the courses held for the university exam, and I was one of those who were trained in these courses and settled in good universities. Of course, it is your choice to place or transfer your child to a high school that you believe is better, but I recommend that those who disparage AAL recklessly reconsider other high schools they would prefer instead of AAL. I passed everything, anyone who transferred their child to basic high schools in the last year should not mention that the old spirit of AAL is gone, because you cannot find a school with a spirit as much as AAL in Ankara, with all its financial and moral means.

A well-established school, where I came many times for an exam assignment, I hope it is a place where I have my son's exam excitement at the door, I hope he graduated from this school, dozens of our respected artists, like our masters, my son has done a great job, I'm waiting for him to pass the exam with excitement I wish success to our bright young people

The first building of our school was established on the field where today's Yüksek İhtisas Hospital is located, and it was known as "Taş Mektep" among the people of Ankara. The school building, whose foundation was laid in 1302 by the then Governor of Ankara Sirri Bey, was completed in 1305 by Rumi. Rumi 1302, Gregorian In 1886, the school started education and training as a five-year İDADİ, and in 1908 it became SULTANİ. Our school was visited by Atatürk for the first time on 30 December 1919. The school, which was transferred to Kayseri together with other official offices in accordance with the conditions of the National Struggle in 1921, was taken back to Ankara a year later in 1922 and continued its service in its old building. During the years of the National Struggle, the teachers and students of the school participated in the wars on the fronts and rose to the rank of veteran and martyrdom. Due to their outstanding efforts and patriotic work in the defense of the homeland, our school was given our star and crescent flag as a gift by Atatürk at the end of the National Struggle, and this sacred relic of Atatürk, which has been meticulously preserved until today, has been the greatest source of pride and honor for our school. (This flag is exhibited in the 75th Year Education Museum in the garden of our school.) The name of our school was changed to ANKARA MEN'S HIGH SCHOOL after the Law of Unification of Education adopted on March 3, 1924. At a time when Atatürk visited our school, he wanted a tribe to be established in our school and allowed its name to be GAZİ OYMAGI. (This valuable pennant is exhibited in the 75th Year Education Museum in the garden of our school.) The great leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk honored our school on 28 June 1933, watched the History - Geography - Citizenship Exams and signed the grade sheet for the 6/F class. In 1938, when the new building of our school was still under construction, a delegation consisting of H. Avni Yukaryuç, the General Director of Secondary Education at the time, Ankara Education Director Salim Atalık and School Principal İhsan Üngüt, decided that the name of our school should be ATATÜRK HIGH SCHOOL at Çankaya Presidential Mansion, Great Leader Atatürk. e, and with Atatürk's permission, the name of our school was changed to ANKARA ATATÜRK HIGH SCHOOL. Our school moved to its new building on October 10, 1940. Our school, which consisted of one block at first, was added to two more blocks over time, and a meeting hall and indoor sports halls were built. Between 1960 and 1970, some parts of our school were allocated to the Ankara Higher Teachers' School, and dormitory, dining hall and study services were provided. Since these years, hostel (boarding) has been opened for the students of our school, but due to the problems that arose in the following years, the hostel was at the end of the 1987-1988 academic year. services have been removed. Since the 1974-1975 academic year, our school has switched to co-education for boys and girls. Since the 1991-1992 academic year, our school has been given the status of ANADOLU HIGH SCHOOL, which teaches some courses in a foreign language. In 2014, our school was given the status of Project School.
