Anhinga Restaurant, Beach and Bar

We`ve been here a while ago, I was told they are unable to serve pizza about ten minutes later they started serving pizza to other guests, I ordered tomato bruschetta bread was soggy tomatoes cut too big, their pastas alright, pasta portions to small, if you wanna serve small plates make a tasting menu.

The ambience is not good, the food is ok for Six Senses Kaplankaya. Service is moderate. Prices are expensive.

The beach is excellent; however the restaurant itself is extremely sub par for the price (for starters, they should know that medium rare does not mean well done, and they should not be serving stale crab). For context, I regularly visit the Mandarin Oriental and D Maris, and would recommend the restaurants and overall beach experience there by far. In addition, the staff are not receptive to constructive feedback whatsoever — as soon as you’ve paid your bill, there is no consideration for attempting to retain you as a repeat customer.

Beautiful location, tasty food, and crystal clear waters. If you’re lucky enough to be staying in this hotel, then enough said, you already know that this is a gorgeous place. If not, then read on... You’ll need to give your name and phone number to the security guard on the road outside, but don’t be deterred, once you’re inside you can use many of the facilities of a 5* hotel, with no challenge, at least in our experience. We came here for lunch, which was delicious (I especially recommend the Mare pizza - photo below, it was so good that I had to eat half before photographing), and we stuck with soft drinks because we were driving and the cocktails were punitively expensive. We then wandered down to some sun beds and basked in the sun, while soaking up the stunning views and enjoying the schools of fish flitting around just off of the decking we were lounging on. It’s not far from Akbük, or CLC, and is eminently worth a visit. Enjoy! :)
