If I could I’d give this place 0 stars. Tasteless food (pide), freezing cold bread and a kebab plate which honestly did not taste anything like kebab. I literally had one bite of what I ordered, but the server did not beef bother asking if everything was ok. He instead collected the plates no question asked. Then he got upset that we left no tip…

Ate all 3 meals in Cappadocia at this place, and nothing disappointed. You have to wait for your food a bit, but that's because they cook everything fresh. We ate Köfte, pide, ottoman kebab, sutlaç, mushrooms in cheese (baked in clay), testi kebap. Everything was perfect!

Well, I understand that Goreme is a touristy overpriced place but I absolutely didn’t expect such low quality & service at such unreasonably high price. It was the the smallest portion of the most tasteless food at the most expensive price I have eaten in Turkey. I ordered two portions of Tandir Corbasi soup which cost 50 TL and looked so delicious on their menu photo but in reality turned out to be a joke. When I came home to open a bag with food, my jaw dropped. There were just two small half empty cups (that probably had 1 ladle of soup each) with a small pita bread and 2 spoons. No napkins or wet towels that everyone else usually packs. I have eaten the same soup yesterday in Avanos town (that I paid 12 lira for) and the restaurant there gave me the same size of cup (just full of delicious soup) with a loaf of cut bread, a pack of freshly made salad, and 2 types of meze. Besides that they put a pile of napkins and wipes to clean my hands. Oh, and on top of that, they also provided an excellent service. After finishing the soup (which also had no flavor) from Anatolian kitchen, my husband and I were still hungry. I really don’t understand what we paid 50 TL for. I think this restaurant has either to learn how to provide a decent service and offer delicious fresh food or to be out of business. I can’t imagine if someone who comes to Turkey for the first time will eat here, he’ll be shocked what Turkish food is like. This is not a place where to eat an authentic Turkish meal. This is not a place where to eat at all. Better stay hungry or find another place.

Absolutely delicious... We stayed in Göreme for three days and we had our five meals there. We tasted more than half of the menu and there were no "meh" quality. All the foods was great. Tandır soup, bostan ₺ testi kebab and pide with minced meat and cheese were just yumm. Mr. Ajdan was a great host and the chef is just brilliant.

Absolutely exceptional. We were delighted that this was our first taste of real Anatolian cuisine right at the central junction in Göreme. The best thing is that it has a brilliant selection of veggie dishes, beautifully presented and with friendly service. Bargain prices too! I suspect we'll be back here repeatedly over the next few days.
