Yapılış tarihi kesin olarak bilinmemektedir. 1955 yılında Prof. Michael Gouche tarafından yapılan araştırmada burada bulduğu yazı da okunamamıştır. için olduğu bozuk devamı yazının rastlanmış ibaresine sevilmiş...? tarafından tanrımız annesi Hirstos Hanım Bereketli Karamanoğulları İbrahim Bey'in emirleri ile Laal Paşa tarafından yaptırılmıştır. (1356-1390) Kare planlı ve orta kubbeli olan cami düzgün kesme taşlarla inşa edilmiştir. Kitabesine göre iki defa onarım gören caminin bahçesinde 2 adet türbe bulunmaktadır. Kümbetlerin birinde 3 adet, diğerinde ise 4 adet mezar bulunmaktadır. Evliya Çelebi Seyahat-namesi'ne göre Laal Paşa bu kümbetlerin birisinde yatmaktadır.
