★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alacahoyuk is the first archeological ruin offically excavated by the Turkish Historical Institution as directions were given by Ataturk. Especially the entrance of the area, The Sphinx Gate is astonishing. You will need approx. 1 hour to visit the area. The museum is not very rich, max. 15-20 mins will be enough to visit all. Entrance fee is 6 TL by August, 2019.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While certainly small compared to nearby Hattusha/Boğazkale, Alaca Höyük is still a fascinating place to visit if you're at all interested in history and archaeology. The Sphinx Gate and postern tunnel are especially interesting. To see what valuables were dug up at Alaca Höyük you'll need to visit the Çorum archaeology museum or Ankara's museum of anatolian civilizations as very little was left in the little on-site museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very old place . Amazingly old and clean atmosphere . If you know something about archeology it's will bee priceless experience. I recommended to explore from Internet before going there . The museum is a little bit big so 2-3 hour enough for more stuff .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can see the very first foundings from the Iron age in Anatolia (3000-2500 BC) following by Hittites (1600-1200 BC) in these ruins.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indoor museum is definitely not a rich one, half an hour is enough to see every item closely. Some of the items are not listed in display (no numbers).
Outdoor museum is also poor, the sphinx gate at the entry and kings tombs being the best.
