The mosque impresses people with its old structure. There is a picnic area right next to it. There are benches with wide tables for sitting on the ten sides of the mosque. You also have a view of Uluborlu in front of you. Right next to you, there is the castle and the ancient city behind the mosque. The only trouble is that there are too many bees. We had difficulty eating at first, then we put the chicken bones aside and the bees headed for them.

Uluborlu Alaaddin Mosque, one of the oldest intact and still used historical monuments of Anatolia, was built by Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat, one of the Hamitoğlu Beys, in 1231 when Uluborlu was the capital of the Hamitoğulları. Although its roof was damaged in two fires in history, the main building and minaret preserve their originality as they were first built. Adjacent to the mosque, there is a library containing forty thousand manuscripts and printed works. The books of this library were taken under protection by being transferred to the libraries of Istanbul and Konya at the beginning of the Republic Period. In the eastern corner of the front facade of the mosque, there is the tomb of Şerif Hasan (R.A.), one of the grandsons of the Prophet (A.S.), who is descended from both the father and the mother.
