Aksaray Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi, Sağlık Yüksekokulu olarak Niğde Üniversitesi bünyesi altında 02.11.1996 tarih ve 22805 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayınlanan, 10.10.1996 tarih ve 96/8655 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu Kararı ile kurulmuştur. Aksaray Üniversitesi’nin kurulmasıyla birlikte 17 Mart 2006 tarihinde yayınlanan 5467 sayılı kanunun ek 64. maddesi ile değiştirilerek Aksaray Üniversitesine bağlanmıştır.
Yüksekokulda ilk önce Hemşirelik Bölümü eğitime başlamıştır. Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 14.02.2000 tarihli ve 266-2888 sayılı yazısı ile Sağlık Memurluğu Bölümü ikinci bir bölüm olarak ilave edilmiştir.
Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 18.05.2007 tarihli ve 1849-12015 sayılı yazısı gereğince 02.05.2007 tarih ve 26510 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayınlanan, Hemşirelik Kanununda Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair 5634 sayılı kanunla Hemşirelik ve Sağlık Memurluğu Bölümleri "Hemşirelik" adı altında birleştirilmiştir.
Yüksekokula, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 28.04.2009 tarihli ve 1968 sayılı yazısı gereği Sağlık Kurumları Yöneticiliği Bölümü, 30.04.2012 tarihli ve 2809-18763 sayılı yazısı gereği Acil Yardım ve Afet Yönetimi Bölümü açılmıştır.
11.02.2015 tarihli Yüksek Öğretim Yürütme Kurulu toplantısında; Sağlık Kurumları İşletmeciliği, Sağlık Kurumları Yöneticiliği ve Sağlık Yönetimi Bölümlerinin 2547 sayılı kanunun 2880 sayılı kanunla değişik 7/d-2 maddesi uyarınca Sağlık Yönetimi olarak birleştirilmesi nedeni ile Yüksekokulumuz Sağlık Kurumları Yöneticiliği Bölümünün adı Sağlık Yönetimi olarak değiştirilmiştir.
Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi, 26.09.2016 tarih ve 2016/9270 sayılı Bakanlar Kurulu Kararının 0111.2016 tarih ve 29875 Resmi Gazetede yayınlanması ile kurulmuş olup, Sağlık Yüksekokulundaki bölümler Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesine aktarılmıştır.
Fakültede, Sağlık Yönetimi Bölümüne 2017-2018 eğitim ve öğretim yılında 2. Öğretim, Acil Yardım ve Afet Yönetimi Bölümüne 2018-2019 eğitim ve öğretim yılında 1. ve 2. öğretim öğrenci alımları yapılmıştır.
Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesine, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 10/10/2017 tarihli ve E.68215 sayılı yazısı gereği Beslenme ve Diyetetik Bölümü ve Çocuk Gelişimi Bölümü ile Yükseköğretim Kurulu Başkanlığının 07/11/2018 tarihli ve E.86725 sayılı yazısı gereği Sosyal Hizmetler Bölümü açılmıştır. Beslenme ve Diyetetik, Çocuk Gelişimi ve Sosyal Hizmetler Bölümüne henüz öğrenci alımı yapılmamıştır.
Fakülte; Hemşirelik , Sağlık Yönetimi ve Acil Yardım ve Afet Yönetimi bölümleri ile eğitim-öğretime devam etmektedir.
Fakültede yaklaşık 952 öğrenci, 29 akademik ve 8 idari personel bulunmaktadır.

Aksaray University, Faculty of Health Sciences, was founded as a School of Health under the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 10.10.1996 and numbered 96/8655 published in the Official Gazette dated 02.11.1996 and numbered 22805. After the establishment of Aksaray University, it was changed to Aksaray University by replacing it with article 64 of the law numbered 5467 published on 17 March 2006.
Firstly, Nursing Department started education in the school. The Department of Health Officer has been added as a second section with the letter dated 26.02.2002 and numbered 266-2888 of the Council of Higher Education.
In accordance with the letter dated 18.05.2007 and numbered 1849-12015 dated 18.05.2007, the Official Gazette dated 02.05.2007 and numbered 26510, the Law No. 5634 on the Amendment of the Nursing Law, the Nursing and Health Officer Departments were merged under the name of "Nursing".
In accordance with the letter of Higher Education Council dated 28.04.2009 and numbered 1968, the Department of Emergency and Disaster Management has been opened in accordance with the article no. 2809-18763 dated 30.04.2012.
In the meeting of Higher Education Executive Board dated 11.02.2015; Health Institutions Management, Health Institutions Management and Health Management Departments 2547 numbered Law No. 2880 under the 7 / d-2 in accordance with the article as a Health Management, combined with the name of our School Health Care Management Department is renamed as Health Management.
The Faculty of Health Sciences was established with the publication of the Decree of the Council of Ministers dated 26.09.2016 and numbered 2016/9270 in the Official Gazette dated 0111.2016 and in 29875.
In the Faculty, the Department of Health Management has been recruited to the 2nd Education, Emergency and Disaster Management Department in the 2017-2018 academic year in the 2018-2019 academic year.
The Department of Health Sciences opened the Department of Social Services in accordance with the letter E.68215 dated 10/10/2017 of the Higher Education Council and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Department of Child Development and the Higher Education Council dated 07/11/2018 and numbered E.86725. Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development and Social Services Department has not yet received students.
Faculty; Nursing, Health Management and Emergency and Disaster Management departments continue education and training.
The Faculty has approximately 952 students, 29 academic and 8 administrative staff.
