★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ankara'dan Mersin'e giderken ve Mersin'den dönerken gördüğüm ilgi çeken büyük bir heykel. Bir hatıra fotoğrafı çekmek için uygun bir yerde değil. Sadece yoldan geçerken seyirlik bir heykel olmuş. Belki ulaşılabilir olsa şehrin tanıtımında daha elverişli olurdu diye düşünüyorum.
 It is a big statue that I have seen coming from Mersin to Mersin and coming back from Mersin. It's not in a convenient place to take a souvenir photo. It's just a walk through the road. I think maybe it would be more convenient to promote the city if it is accessible.

It was named Anatolian Lion by Evliya Çelebi.

Their weight varies between 80-120 kg for males and 55-85 kg for females.
