Akdamar Özgür Camping, Gevaş-VAN

A beautiful campsite right across the Akdamar island. The place reserved for the tent areas is covered with a tarpaulin. It has nice shade. WC and shower available. WC is always clean and hygienic. The beach is beautiful, but the entrance part is stony. There is also a closed beach for women. owner Necat Bey is very interested. It helps right away. It is sprayed against flies and pests every day. A great place to relax with your whole family. It is wonderful to drink tea against Akdamar island at sunset in the evenings. All in all, I definitely recommend it.

A beautifully situated campsite with rather simple but adequate facilities. Lake Van is incredibly beautiful and definitely worth a visit! The owner of the campsite knows what to do if you don't speak Turkish yourself, so that funny conversations arise and you can learn a lot about the country and its people.

It was a place we went for the first time, we had some hesitations, but we went there and saw the environment, we were in a comfort like our own home during the days we stayed. The tent camping and caravan area is wonderful, next to the lake, it is very beautiful, there is drinking water in places, shower area, cabin cabin canopy, a big cauldron to light the campfire, you can camp in extreme peace, also the camping area is right across Akdamar Island. as very beautiful. washbasins, WC always have clean soap, hygiene rules apply. Of course, in addition to these beautiful opportunities, the sincere approach of the owner Necat and the devoted work of the staff made us feel very safe and comfortable. Make sure to take a raincoat or a warm garment with you when you go. It is the best safe and beautiful place to camp in that area.
