Gürültüden uzak, çok temiz havası ile ülke turizminde denizin mavisi ile ormanın yeşilinin buluşma noktasında olsa da yerel yönetimler yeterince değil, hiç hizmet getirmemiş.. Tam anlamıyla dökülüyor.
Alt yapı sorunu olan bu beldemizde denize beş metre mesafede bulunan Akbük giriş yolu ve çevresindeki dükkanlar, evler, oteller bahçeler her yağmur da sular altında kalır, bu yılların sorunu güzelim Akbük'de 12 km sahil şeridinde.
Pislik içinde her taraf sinek böcek olmasına rağmen temiz deniz, temiz hava arzulayanlar için bulunmaz bir cennettir.
Yeşil alanların çokluğu ile dikkat çekmekte. Akbük, yaklaşık on iki kilometrelik çok güzel sahil şeridi ile Türkiye'de bir tek; her türlü sporunun yapılmasına da müsaittir.

A very nice place. Of course it's neglected. Even though I'm tired of saying it over and over, it's the same thing. garbage dump. There is no proper parking. Shame on this beauty

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, undeveloped Turkish village with little to see unless you have a car to find some nice hidden beaches. Once you get out of the very small 'centre' it gets better. I hated it while I was there but since leaving, I've realised it has it's charm of it's own. Probably only suitable for the beaches on the outskirts and for a few days as a camper for example.
