The building continued its madrasah function with its 60 students who were used as farrier households during the World War I. It served as the warehouse of the Istanbul Archeology Museum against the danger of World War II, and the Niğde Museum warehouse between 1950-57 and the Niğde Museum Directorate between 1957-1977. Since 1997, stone works have been preserved in the madrasa. The building is in an open courtyard and two-storey madrasahs group. The lower floor has a two-iwaned scheme, while the upper floor has a four-iwan arrangement with the main iwan, which is kept two floors high. The scheme of the plan is very symmetrical and is the only example in Turkish Madrasa Architecture.
