I was fascinated by this library when I first came here a few years ago. But over time, the working time, which was 24 hours, was reduced as it was reduced. Currently, it says on its website that it provides service between 10:00 and 16:00. The beautiful big hall and the small halls attached to it were closed for renovation(?) and entry is prohibited for a long time. It is forbidden to enter, but since I saw a person working all day in that hall on my last visit, I asked the attendant if it was used, he said it was not used. The employee must be someone's son/relative. If you're not near someone, you have to work in one of the stuffy basements like a dungeon called a study hall, without seeing the light of day. While the other halls are empty. The card system is no longer active because the kiosks were at the entrance of the old halls. This library was one of the easiest libraries to access for high school students. I regret that even ordinary things like working in the library in the center of Ankara are made so difficult and alienated from humane conditions for young people.

The library has been designed very well, reading areas have been created, the way the books are categorized is nice, but it doesn't help enough when searching for books, I think it would be better if a little more arrangement was made...!!!

In order to enter the library, it is enough to be a member of any public library. If you are not a member, they will not let you in without being a member. Becoming a member is free and takes a short time. The section with the books is a small and cozy place. Very nicely decorated. The garden is also beautiful and big. However, the study halls are very flat, small and stuffy. Most people don't wear masks inside. I don't know if it was finals week, but because the study halls were full at 11 am, there was a queue of students at the door.
