Adalya Elite Lara

The holiday experience was spoilt on check out, trying to charge for wine that was not consumed to the value of 88euro for an a la carte meal in the bosphorus restaurant, 10/04/22, causing a great deal of stress, highlighting so on check out, double check the charges !

Service and food are great. This hotel is the best in Lara! Heated semi-olympic pool outside! Awesome. Thank you for your hospitality! Thanks to everyone, especially to my favorite guy Hakan!

It was a beautiful hotel great staff helped a lot but the room wasn’t what it looked like on the website wasn’t even big enough for 4 people other than that everything else was really good would come bAck again but make sure the room is suitable for 4 people

Wow! What a hotel! As Adalya is at the far end of the Lara Beach strip it is one of the newest hotels there -6 years old and so has has been built to the latest standards. I had a side-sea room which measured 30ft X 13ft; very spacious, giving fantastic views across the bay to the distant mountains. The land view rooms are cheaper but there's nothing to see and they might be noisier too as it faces a road. The staff are fantastic and very friendly, too. If you have any issues, (e.g. don't like your room, need to sort out bus tickets) go and see Cemille (Customer Services Manager and she'll most likely be able to sort it. Another thing to check out if you come in low season as I did is whether your chosen hotel has a heated outdoor pool and, very importantly, bar - as Adalya has. I loved the food but do note that many guests are German, Russian and from the Middle East so don't expect British-style curry to be served up. My one criticism is that some of the hot food could have been more frequently that -hot! I do understand that maybe the management are concerned with all the children around that there might be a scalding accident if plates were pre-heated? The complex is massive - it's quite a long walk (400m) past all the pools and entertainment facilities to the private beach. There is a regular bus service (LC-07) into Antalya (11 miles away) which you need to get a card for (20L/£1.20) which you load up credit. A single journey is about 5L (30p) and an all day ticket is about £2 and takes 55 mins to the centre (Old Town/shopping bazaars). Taxis cost about the same as in the UK and so are expensive. The Italian a la Carte meal I had was superb - 6 courses - drinks are free, unless you want to purchase one of the exclusive imported fine wines. Overall, great location, fantastic staff and extremely well-managed hotel with up to 2200 guests in highest season (there were up to 1000 when I stopped in low season). I liked it so much I returned for 31 nights in January 2022 and, again, it was a fantastic experience. I had Mexican and Chinese a la Cartes which were both superb. Unless you are very disciplined, you will put on weight as, in addition to the three buffet meals (breakfast 0700-1100, lunch 1230-1430, evening meal 1830-2100, there is a patisserie and hot food available throughout the day. In higher season, there's lots of snacks and hot meals available at the various poolside bars. Alcoholic drinks are locally-produced versions of what you get in the UK. I like clothes and found you could get better prices in Antalya and if you go on the Manavgat trip to its bazaar compared to the Lara beach strip where there are 100s of shops. Either way you need to haggle to get reasonable prices and never buy perfume (water?). I hope you enjoy your stay at Adalya Elie as much as I have.

Second visit to adalya, this time I visited for my birthday and I had the best time! From start to end, they couldn’t do enough to make my holiday the best! ? My room cleaner was such a lovely lady always leaving me surprises in my room ♥️ I ate in the a la carts most evenings and the food and staff were amazing!! Fireworks, flowers, champagne and cake for my birthday ? Entertainment team were amazing as usual!! Firat, ronaldo Charlie and my 2 special loves deniz and lulu thank you so much for everything ♥️? Bar staff are brilliant always making special cocktails, laughing together and having fun, ilgin, Ferhat, kerim, Ali Riza and so many more, always taking care of me, my personal security ? And of course the beautiful Cemile guest services, always so friendly and loving ♥️ I’ve made so many amazing friends here and I will be back in March ??♥️

This was one amazing experience. We loved every minute, the only downside was that on the last night at the Chinese restaurant they forgot not only the first course but also the main course of our friend. A disappointing end to a fabulous Christmas/NewYear.

Quality hotel, staff exceptional, all inclusive recommended, not much to do outside hotel. A few shopping malls. 40 min journey from airport when arriving, Turkish immigration a nightmare on returning leg. Scan 3 times then bag search. I guess scanners iffy. Quality food, drinks, feature restruant recommended.

The foods were ok, bakeries and pastries were delicious. The rooms were big, nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful even if most of them couldn’t speak English. The interior design of restaurant was not as good as rooms. Great gym and inside and outside pool. We were there during the coldest season/ December, so still lots of entertainment undiscovered. My overall experience was great at this hotel.
