★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You should go here for years. Balaban meatballs with yogurt is a legend. The place was quite unobtrusive, artisan shop. At the back of the town hall is again a modest entrance. Those who know very well, those who do not need to look carefully. Because there is no flashy entrance.Make sure you will not regret. Balaban kebab may not appeal to some people. Alexander's skewers and meatballs can be said to be the one but the taste of that butter, the taste of that meatball and skewer is nowhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hate to break it to you but it is a bit expensive and you can definitely find this taste somewhere else for cheaper. Of course this doesn't mean the food wasn't delicious. It has a long history so that might be why it costs more.

I had the Mai+desert+drink set menu at 5.5$. great value and good food.
Sorry for the Kebap picture. I was so hungry that I almost ate all before taking a pic. Mmmmmmm delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first time I have tried Balaban. It is really tasty. I think this place makes it really well. We had to wait a bit for food to arrive as it is a small restaurant but it was worth the wait. We were lucky as we didnt wait for a seat but after we arrived there was a relatively big queue outside. I can't recommend this place for those who would like to try other dishes as they only serve Balaban. However, if you want to try just Balaban, this is your place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you haven't been here before, this place will set a new standard for how kebab should taste. It's not easy to describe the tender, juicy and delicious köfte and şiş kebabs here, and do justice. You need to experience it yourself.

It is clean and staff is kind!
In terms of quantity, I would say it was less. Me and my friend ordered 3 dishes and then we were fulfilled. The prices were higher that normal for the quantity we got, but I think it was because it is unique because of its history!
The taste of it was indeed different than common kofte! It was delicious! Order Sorpali menu as it was mix of sauce!
It is not a fancy place but simple clean restaurant that serves delicious food and has history!
