Good university wishing to join??

The university is nice

As an AGÜ graduate, I can summarize my view on the university as a poor organization with great facilities and capabilities. The two things that I can mention as outstanding are the international office team and the facilities. Else than what I've mentioned, the education system is very poor, 80% of the academicians and employees suffer from racism disease, organization across all various sectors of management is extremely horrible. I expect an elite representative of the university to come and listen to the full view of the reality on this university if they want it to be a "third generation" university as they claim, instead of going to conferences and promoting the university, hiding the devastating experience of the students. UPDATE: I think truth hurts, that's why I got such a reply on my review! Instead of taking the critics into consideration and improving ..... They reply by saying Fady got accepted. Pathetic! I got accepted for the masters program in Abdullah Gul University and my opinion is still the same. In any masters degree, your exposure is only with the advisors who are monitoring and supervising your studies. I will not be exposed to a lot of useless employees in such a university. I'm going to get my thesis with my favorite professors and leave as soon as I can. I would not recommend anybody to join this university as an undergrad. Total waste of time in an undergraduate program. I repeat, I'm here for the sake of having good thesis with two of my favorite professors (who are rare to find in AGU) and they were the one who invited me to apply. No more, no less.

I am a mechanical engineer 4th year student. I think this University is one of the best in Turkey in terms of different perspectives 1- it is 100% English and I am happy with this at least in my department. When any of my professor speak in Turkish they translate to me and even they apologize for that. 2- University points out the self education skills which is really important for today industry. 3- University take care of teaching students soft skills. For example, we have youth factory which organize very good activities. Furthermore,the University has approved the non academic transcript which allows student to have their soft skills approved by University. In addition, we have Glb courses which is very helpful for soft skills. To sum up, I am glad that I am in this University and I think I will look forward to continue my post graduate education here as well Thank you AGU⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been blessed-out when I get education because most of the teachers are super in sense of understanding lessons according to you and asking many questions you cannot understand. I loved Prep. School AGÜ.

I am a 3rd year student and I can tell you this university is absolutely horrific! I detest it! The teachers are really bad, but the main teachers that get on my nerves are the English 102 teachers! They will literally join a zoom session just to tell you that you are failing! They tell us they have a 70% fail rate as if that's a good thing to flaunt!! They are teaching to fail the students and not to make them learn something! What kind of teachers are rooting for you to fail? Every single announcement must have the word 'You are going to fail!' in it! BAD UNIVERSITY!! if you have other options you'd much rather join the other ones!

Below average university for international students Faculty is not worth it The only good thing is the fees

I'm a student at AGU, and at first it looked really nice from the outside, like a university that facilitates international students and that's why I came here, but its suffice to say I am considerably disappointed in how international students are treated by teachers. IT IS MOST DEFINITLY NOT 100% ENGLISH, teachers in all departments (not the English department of course) speak Turkish a lot, It is one thing speaking Turkish to explain something to a Turkish student but its another thing to continue speaking in Turkish and making important announcements to the class in Turkish whilst there are international students attending completely disregarding them. Some teachers are just purely racist they only help out the Turks and explain to them a lot more and in much more detail than for internationals. I wish I could express my regret of coming here but its impossible and we would be here all day all I can say is that if you are planning to come here DON'T unless you're a Turk. The only way this university can try to improve is by getting rid of 90% of teachers or to hire more international teachers.
